School Library

The word library is derived from a French word "Librairie"; Latin "liber" = book. The library plays an important role in our academic and social lives.

To inculcate love for reading, the school has a big library which was donated by Late Shri Balkrishna Shriya ji in the loving memory of his wife Late Smt. Urmila Shriya ji. It has a variety of books to suit every taste. There is a huge collection of English and Hindi classics; adventure and mystery books by Enid Blyton, Nancy Drew & Hardy Boys. There are highly inspiring auto-biographies of great personalities. Besides, there is an exhaustive collection of books by Rabindranath Tagore, Satyajit Ray, Munshi Premchand, Ruskin Bond and Sudha Murthy Self-improvement and motivational books are aplenty. For the general knowledge buffs, there are encyclopedias on every subject and for the creative minds there are many Art and Craft books.

Those students who believe in going an extra mile can browse the reference books. For teachers also, there are resource books for all the subjects. Magazines and Journals have been subscribed to cover the latest.
There is a separate Reading Room for the Primary students with a wide range of story books and encyclopedias.
Every week the students visit the Library / Reading Room to savour the joy of reading and make reading a life long habit.

The road to nowhere

In todays world libraries are changing a lot. Computer has changed the physical existence of libraries.

We stablished online as well as offline library for our students. Each student has a card called library card having a unique number on it to be used in Physical Library. Number of this Library Card is also used in digital library. Student can borrow the books from Physical Library and download these from our digital library as and when they need.
